Long before espresso machines and the rich aroma of freshly ground beans filled the air, the patch of land known as Outback Espresso was once surrounded by orchards and a small strip of businesses where you could hear the clack-clack of steps and see the gaps between planks on the sun bleached wood grain in front of Reva’s hair salon or the diner next to the old apple packing plant.

As the years passed, the world around the orchards and fruit packing plant began changing. The next generations chose to preserve its spirit in a new way. In 1999, Outback Espresso was born from an ambitious idea supported by strong-will and determination to create something new: a place to engage and support our community.

As a family-owned coffee shop, Outback Espresso started with a simple vision — serve great coffee and treat every customer like a friend. We didn’t just want to open a business. We wanted to continue a legacy. In 2011, our second location, Outback North was added to boost support for the West Valley High School. The family history of bringing people together to better the community couldn’t be more relevant to our mission statement today.  Every day, we continue to strive to support the local community and the people who support us!

Over the years, Outback Espresso has grown, but our roots remain the same. Every cup we serve is grounded in the same values our great-grandfather lived by: hard work, honesty, and community. The land reminds us daily that we are part of something bigger than ourselves — a story that began long before 1999.  Today, when you drive up to order your favorite drink, you’re not just ordering at a coffee shop. You are part of the history being written in our story.  You are helping to support our community, one cup at a time.
